World Lagomorph Society
About Us
The main purpose of the WLS is to promote the cooperation between Lagomorph researchers, by diffusing information, results, projects and news. The WLS provides an electronic newsletter for members to foster communication among lagomorph researchers, by giving update information concerning research, conservation or exploitation on the different Lagomorph species. WLS also promotes the World Lagomorph Conference (WLC), each 4 years, and supports more regional symposia on specific subjects. As some lagomorphs have an important economic value, either as game or as pest species, a special attention will be on these species, namely by given information for wildlife managers. WLS also aims to get funds to support the attendance of students in conferences or deawn co-finance projects on particular subjects.
